• Patients should not bring valuables, cash, or other non-essential items with them during their appointment.
• IRC Management assumes no responsibility for the care and protection of any personal belongings left unattended, nor for any loss under any circumstance, including theft, vandalism, or malicious mischief. However, every effort will be made to return found items to their rightful owners.
• If the patient’s procedure is prolonged and they wish to keep their valuables in safe custody, they should contact the Head of Reception.
• If an individual safe is not available, the Head of Reception will provide a box to store belongings in the Reception safe. In this case, the patient must fill out a Belongings Check Form and sign it upon receiving their belongings.
• Belongings Check before Leaving the Patient’s Changing Room: After examination, ensure that patients check and collect all their personal belongings before leaving the IRC.
• All items are stored in a secured cupboard except for valuables, which are kept in a secure safe. If belongings are not claimed within two months, the Head of Reception will contact the local police to take appropriate action.
• In case of emergency situations, such as a patient being unconscious or other critical scenarios, a staff member shall give the belongings to the Head of Reception and complete the Lost and Found form.
