The department provides all fundamental diagnostic testing of the following areas:
- Culture and Antibiotic susceptibility.
- Bacterial, Fungal and Parasitic infections
- Skin Infections and other Dermatological Disorders
- Sexually Transmitted Diseases
- Infectious diseases.
- Screening for H. pylori.
- Employment Screening Checkup.
- Microbial antigen tests for rapid detection of variety of pathogens.
- Wet mounts, direct gram stains, acid fast stains in addition to KOH preparation for the rapid detection of sexually transmitted and other infections including Tuberculosis, Diphtheria and fungi.
